In large spaces such as factories, stadiums, and exhibition halls, the design and operation of heating systems have always faced severe challenges. Traditional convection heating methods are limited by the physical characteristic of hot air rising, which easily leads to a temperature stratification problem of "hot at the top and cold at the bottom", not only affecting the comfort of people but also causing a significant waste of energy. However, the emergence of ECOPAN hot water radiant panels has provided a brand-new solution to this problem.

ECOPAN hot water radiant panel mainly provides heating through radiant heat transfer. During the hot water circulation operation, the radiant panel converts the heat of the medium into infrared rays of various wavelengths and irradiates them into the heating environment. Compared with traditional convection heating, ECOPAN hot water radiant panel can achieve the same heating effect at a lower supply water temperature, saving a significant amount of energy. Additionally, there is no strong air flow, so there is no draft sensation, and it does not stir up indoor dust, reducing the spread of dust and smoke, creating a healthier indoor environment.

As an important large-scale sports venue in the local area, the Ulanqab Tennis Hall has a spacious and lofty interior. Such a spatial structure poses significant challenges to the design and operation of the heating system. During the initial stage of the heating scheme argumentation, the limitations of the traditional convection heating method became apparent. Due to the unique chimney effect in high spaces, hot air continuously rises along the vertical direction, resulting in a large amount of heat gathering in the ceiling area, creating an awkward situation of "hot above and cold below". More importantly, in order to barely maintain the temperature in the ground area, the heating equipment needs to operate at a high load continuously, leading to high energy consumption. The energy cost during the winter heating season has become a major burden on the operation of the venue.

Facing these challenges, the venue ultimately chose to adopt ECOPAN hot water radiant panel as the heating solution. According to the spatial structure and heating requirements of the venue, the product was scientifically and reasonably installed under the trusses of the venue's ceiling, forming a uniform radiant heating surface. Different from traditional heating methods, ECOPAN hot water radiant panel transfers heat through radiation, directly irradiating infrared rays to the ground, walls, players' bodies, and spectator stands within the venue. These objects absorb the heat and then slowly release it into the surrounding environment, achieving a uniform distribution of heat. After a complete heating season of operation and detection, the temperature difference in different areas of the tennis hall was effectively controlled within a very small range of ±1℃. Whether it was the center of the court, the sideline area, or the spectator stands, a stable and comfortable temperature environment could be maintained. Even more gratifying was that compared with traditional heating methods, the adoption of ECOPAN hot water radiant panel reduced the venue's winter heating energy consumption by approximately 28%, saving a significant amount of energy costs each year. At the same time, as the radiant panels operate without mechanical noise and do not generate air flow, the air quality and quiet atmosphere within the venue were greatly guaranteed, truly achieving a win-win situation of high efficiency and energy conservation as well as a comfortable experience.

The successful practice of Ulanqab Tennis Hall vividly demonstrates the core advantages of ECOPAN hot water radiant panel in heating large spaces. It fundamentally solves the problems of uneven temperature, high energy consumption and large environmental interference caused by traditional convection heating in large spaces. For various large spaces with high requirements for heating effect, energy-saving indicators and environmental quality, ECOPAN hot water radiant panel is not only an excellent alternative to traditional convection heating, but also represents a direction of efficient, comfortable and environmentally friendly heating system upgrade, providing a highly valuable reference model for the design of modern building heating systems.
