<p> Hangar No. 1 of China Southern Airlines Maintenance Base is the largest single project in Beijing Daxing International Airport Southern Aviation Base. It is currently the largest aircraft maintenance hangar in Asia and the largest single maintenance hangar with the largest span in the world. Hangar steel structure roof truss span 404.5 meters, width 97.5 meters, elevation 38.5 meters. The construction area is 39,000 square meters, equivalent to the size of 5 standard football fields or 80 standard basketball courts. </p> <p> <br /> </p> <p> <span>The whole space of hangar No. 1 of Southern Hangar Maintenance Base is high and has a large span. Its structural characteristics lead to great influence of natural convection on indoor space from outside, great heat consumption of cold air infiltration, and the proportion of ground heat dissipation in the total load is also relatively large. In addition, due to the large volume of the hangar door, the number of air exchange times of opening the door, and the amount of air exchange at the moment of opening the door, the indoor temperature fluctuates greatly.</span> </p> <p> <br /> </p> <p style="text-align:center;"> <img src="/Uploads/image/20241105/20241105103102_44376.jpg" alt="" /> </p> <br /> <strong>Solution:</strong><br /> <br /> The hangar is designed with 84 IMPRESIND gas radiant heating systems. The system consists of three parts: generator, radiation belt and control system. The heat source of the system is natural gas, and it is not necessary to set up a separate heat source. Generators and gas, strong electricity and other equipment are installed outdoors, will not increase the building's fire risk level and design difficulty. The radiation belt is hoisted at the indoor height of 32 meters and installed in a straight line through a spherical grid, which does not affect the indoor heating effect and does not occupy the use area in the building.<br /> <br /> IMPRESIND gas radiant heating system uses infrared radiation heating technology. Infrared is non-dispersive, so the energy is concentrated and the thermal effect is significant. The generator burns natural gas, and the hot fluid generated flows in the radiation tube made of aluminum alloy and steel under the drive of the negative pressure centrifugal fan. The high temperature surface of the radiation tube excites infrared radiation waves, and the heat is transmitted downward in a directional way to directly heat the radiated area. Most infrared rays are absorbed by buildings, personnel, equipment, etc., storing energy and raising its temperature. At the same time, after the heat exchange of the hot fluid inside the radiation tube, a part of the product is used for flue gas recirculation through the premix chamber for secondary heating, making full use of energy, and greatly improving the heating efficiency.<br /> <br /> The supporting control system includes a centralized controller and control system software, which can be controlled remotely. One controller can control up to 59 devices and set temperature parameters independently for each device to improve temperature control accuracy and operational safety. The hangar can be partitioned and time-sharing heating according to the work needs, and the equipment can be opened and closed at any time to reduce energy consumption.<br /> <br /> In the environment of infrared radiation heating, the indoor temperature is uniform and soft, and the human body is comfortable. The realistic temperature felt by the human body is 2℃~3℃ higher than the actual indoor ambient temperature, that is, under the premise of the same comfort, the air temperature of radiation heating is 2℃~3℃ lower than the air temperature of convective heating. Therefore, the interior design temperature of hangar 1 is 18℃, and the actual average temperature is 20.7℃. The indoor air temperature gradient is small, the heat utilization rate is higher, and the comprehensive energy saving can reach 30% to 50%.<br />
