Compared with the traditional convective heating method, the infrared radiation heating used in tall space buildings has lower heat loss, faster temperature rise and stronger thermal comfort, mainly for three reasons: 
 
1, because the radiation heating, radiant heat directly irradiates the heating object, almost does not heat the air in the environment, so the air temperature of radiation heating is lower than the air temperature of convective heating under the same health conditions, generally can be lower by 2-30C, so the indoor and outdoor temperature difference is small, so the building heat loss is also small. 
 
2, due to the small temperature difference between indoor and outdoor radiation heating, the cold air permeability is also small. 
 

	3, due to convective heating, indoor air is heated, and the formation of hot and cold air convection, so the indoor air temperature has a large gradient, the roof part of the temperature is high, the temperature near the ground is low, the general convective heating temperature gradient is about 0.5-1.0 oC/ m, and radiation heating, radiant heat directly downward radiation, the ground part can also save some heat, Therefore, the indoor air temperature gradient is small, which can greatly reduce the heat loss in the upper part of the house.
