Large space buildings, such as industrial plants, mostly use traditional heating methods, the use of heat sources such as hot water boilers, steam boilers through pipelines and air handling units, heaters, radiators and other cooling equipment to heat the air in the plant, relying on air convection to achieve the purpose of heating. However, in the traditional convective heating system, due to the rise of hot air, a large amount of heat is consumed in the upper part of the tall building, and the lower working area is difficult to obtain enough heat, and the temperature distribution is uneven, which not only causes energy waste, but also poor thermal comfort. 
 
In the process of radiation heating, the heat is mainly concentrated in the middle and lower part of the room, which is more conducive to absorption and utilization by the human body. Therefore, radiation heating can better reduce the influence of temperature gradient than the previous two traditional heating methods. Compared with the traditional convection heating method, infrared radiation heating method has the advantages of fast heating speed, uniform heating, high thermal efficiency, high efficiency and energy saving. The heat conversion rate of infrared radiation heating is basically more than 90%, and the energy efficiency is higher. 
 
In general, the traditional convection heating method preheating time is 2 hours, the process of energy waste is huge; The infrared radiation heating equipment will have a warm feeling in a few minutes after opening, and the required indoor temperature will be reached in about 30 minutes. In addition, after the traditional heating equipment is closed, the industrial workshop will soon cool down, and after the infrared radiation heating equipment is shut down, the energy consumption will stop immediately, but the heat stored in the envelope, the ground and the object will slowly dissipate heat to the environment, maintain a slower cooling, and can still maintain the required temperature within 2 hours after the shutdown. 
 
When the indoor air temperature is the same, radiant heat directly transfers heat to the heating object. The realistic temperature of radiant heating is 2~3℃ higher than that of convective heating. That is to say, under the condition that the indoor realistic temperature is the same, the indoor air temperature of radiant heating is 2~3℃ lower than that of heating, so the indoor heat consumption is small and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor is small. The cold air permeability is also small, thus improving the indoor heating effect. The experiments show that the room temperature of 16℃ under the radiant heat condition is equivalent to the convection environment of 18~20℃. It is understood that if the room temperature is reduced by 1 ° C, about 10% of energy can be saved.
