Beijing Daxing International Airport's Southern Airlines Base Cargo Station project was completed on May 28, and it was the first cargo station construction project completed at the new airport. As one of the five major functional areas of China Southern Airlines in the new airport, the cargo station has a total construction area of 25,127 square meters. According to the person in charge of the Project Department of China Railway Construction Engineering Group, the construction process can be called "running into the field". The capping of the main structure was finished 10 days in advance, and the capping and enclosing was completed 23 days in advance. The overall delivery time was one month ahead of schedule, which effectively guaranteed the overall goal of Beijing's new airport to be put into operation on September 30. 	This project used ECOPAN Icopan hot water radiant panels from Italy to ensure the heating of the 40,000 square meter cargo warehouse. 


	During the construction process, we overcome major difficulties such as large steel structure construction span, heavy single steel beam, and multiple construction equipment. Innovative operation methods and advanced methods such as pre-assembly were adopted to speed up the progress while ensuring project quality. (Citation: Beijing Daily)
