Infrared heating technology works in the same way that the sun warms the Earth: infrared radiation passes through the air without heating it, releasing heat energy only when it touches the surface. The biggest advantage of infrared heating technology is that it can directly transfer heat to the object or person that needs to be heated. When you have a properly designed infrared radiant heating system, the biggest heat source is no longer the heater itself, but the floor and objects inside the building that store all the heat.
