It is difficult to meet the design temperature requirements because of the large scale of industrial plant buildings and the difficulty of heating arrangement. The height of the industrial plant is relatively high, the space is relatively large, the heating effect is difficult to ensure, the heating equipment of the ordinary plant is hot and cold, due to the serious wind disturbance of the plant, the dust flying in the plant, the health conditions are poor, the production process has an impact on the quality of the product. In the space of tall industrial plants, the choice of heating method in winter is very important. The choice of heat source is also a very important factor in the design of industrial plant heating. 
 
At present in the scope of industrial areas, it is usually the boiler room of the factory to provide steam. Generally speaking, factory buildings can also use electricity for heating, but the price of electricity in industry is relatively high, which may cause high heating costs. If there is no hot water, heat or steam in the plant, some workshops can use natural gas for heating as long as there is no flammable danger, which is also a relatively economic way.

Compared with other fossil fuels such as coal and oil, the main component of natural gas, methane, contains the smallest amount of carbon molecules, and produces less carbon dioxide (CO2) during combustion.
